     Gosh that could be Zabinas sister. never thought about them been split up after her father died Zabina is such an unusual name and Rachaels father was called Abiathon found that spelt so many different ways but they all sound very biblical Thank you for the inspiration.

    I am also looking for info on  a Zebina Jones born 1834  the only census I can find him on is the 1841. in Trevethan. his father is Abrather who died in 1843 apparently in a pit accident and then they name a mine after him His mother was Charlotte siblings were william born 1829 john 1831 Rachael born 1837 and Bathsheba born 1841 I have never found them on any other census Bathsheba end up in Middlesbrough that is in The NE of England  found her marriage to a John Howe

     I have just found one of my ancestors on the 1911 census and she has put she was born BALLAGROAN Tyrone is they such a place?  could anyone help and if it is a place is it near Cookstown?

Hi Suzard.
               My grgranda"s name was Thomas Griffin info on marriage lines are has follows on 22nd of June 1882 at St Mary"s Cathederal Middlesbrough County of York.
                 Thomas Griffin age 25yrs Bachelor Labourer of  28 Albert Mews Father Thomas Griffin (DECEASED) BUILDER.  married Mary Hagan. witnesses were James Hagan and Mary Ann O Neill.
                 On the 1881 census Thomas was lodging with the Hagans at Albert Mews who all came from Ireland that is were I got the information that Thomas originated from Chelsea

Hi Can anyone help?
 Does anyone have any info on St Mary"s Orphanage and poor School. I think my gr granda was a inmate there on the 1871 census he was age 14 and was born Chelsea. I cannot find his birth or anything else only info I can find is on 1881 census and his marriage to my grgrandmother were he gives fathers name has Thomas and that his father was a builder any pointers greatly appreciated. ???

    yes I have visted that site. And found his death details was just curious about wether the mine was still there. It seems that when he died all is family disappeared cannot find them on any census but 1841. many thanks Sharon
