I am a descendent of John Tresadern brother to the above Elizabeth Tresadern Ch. 13 August 1751 Perranaworthal. Their parents were Nicholas Tresadern 29 Oct 1727 Illogan Cornwall, and an Elizabeth ?. It is thought that the father of Nicholas may possibly have been one John Tersadren Ch. 19 Jan 1704 in Reduth Cornwall, and that in turn his father may have been one Georg(e) Tresodran, m to Thamson ?.
Not much help to the original enquiry I'm afraid, but I do have a copy of the Will of Nicholas Tresadern dated 1759 from the Public Records Office leaving his estate to his wife Elizabeth, and his son John, and mine and my brother's transcription of the will. It seems that Nicholas was a moderately literate man and quite well off. I would be interested to know what Nicholas' wife Elizabeth's given name might have been. Illogan in Cornwall is nearer the N coast, and Perranaworthal is near the S coast, but at the narrowest point of the county, so they are only about 5 to 6 miles apart. Kea is about a quarter to a third of the way between the two, being nearest to Perranaworthal. Geoff
