Hi  - maybe a long shot but I am looking for information on an Agnes Kirkwood who emigrated to New Zealand in the 1860s - married a David Greig  - he died some few years later and she married again. Any information would be helpful

Hi Charlie - just hoping that you have remembered to look for the Lawerence Pearson you said you had information on - the one that was in the merchant navy - I know its been a while - but I have drawn a blank  and am hoping you can dredge up the information from your files.

my further information on Lawrence Pearson was that he had 4 siblings, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. He was born 1927 - Perth - Scotland. He studies engineering and wa s in the merchant navy in the early 1950's. He may or may not have left the navy later.  Any information on Lawrence would be of help - I have found plenty of the same name but the other details do not fit. Also spelling of Laurence - I am presuming that it is with a 'w' but I could be wrong. Names of his parents or grand parents would certainly help to fill in the details and add to the family tree.

Cheers

Hi Charlie

I think that the Lawrence Edwin Pearson that is your Uncle Eddie may the same person. You say you have a Pearson from Moneydie topic on this site - as I am new to this could you let me know how to find it. Were there other siblings in your uncles family and was he always in the Black Watch Army? Sorry lots of questions - but they will all help to build up a picture  and add to a family tree.
Cheers

Thank you for that information - the information I need now is the children from that marriage - I think I have found a Wilhemina - but I thought that there was a Lawerence, George and another girl

I am searching for any information about Lawerence Pearson - whom I believe was born in 1927 or there abouts - he was in the merchant navy at some stage and was also believed to be an engineer- I am presuming that he was the son of Lawerence and Charlotte Pearson. Any information about the Lawerence and Charlotte and their children would be appreciated. I am not sure of the spelling of Lawerence - it may have been Laurence
