Hi sproutie1

George Kemp and Elizabeth fry

daughters and partners

I have no info as of yet for Martha and  Elizabeth Kemp but
I can answer one question .

Mary Kemp was born 1816 died 1917 .
married to peter Phillips born 1815

Sarah Kemp was born 1807 died ?
married Charles cousins born ? 1807

this will narrow your search.

you may find that Horis was illegit and if he was born at sea in 1829 then there may not be a record. as they were not recorded till 1853.

Elizabeth or Martha may have had him out of wedlock and he may also go under a different surname as both martha and elizabeth may have remarried.I had this happen with a great great grand father on the other side of my family. so took a while to find him.

the Kemp's go back to 1605 so far in that area .as you say there are loads of us.

If George Norman was stationed there then check out the http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/familyhistory/bmd/
you can find military and other records here.

also check out http://www.censusfinder.com/

and http://emeraldancestors.com/  for the Irish look ups  for northern Ireland, Counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Londonderry and Tyrone

best wishes and happy searching
