we have a large earthenwear jar with tap ,on the front it says h.sherwin kedleston road brewery derby,with the number 1845,would it be date or batch number, also these jars will not be supplied unless previously ordered.

do you mean the second page as the bit with details of height, disabilities, residency etc.  Also do you have any ideas on how to trace details on when the two brothers left New York, 1 to go to Australia and 1 to England, would of been after 1911.  Would there be any records anywhere or any good sites i could go on.  Do you also know which site is the best to join for irish records, i am already a member of ancestry.co.uk, but i cannot seem to find anything there, should i join the worldwide section? thanks ann

thanks for the tip on ellis island web page - have now found the sister marys, brother Eugene and my grandfather Johns emigration papers.  I am so thrilled that i have now moved off the first rung of the ladder.  The next thing i am going to do is get in touch with the mormon church records.  thanks so much ANN

I AM TRYING TO FIND HISTORY ON MY FAMILY FROM KENMARE IN IRELAND - DONT KNOW IF THEY WERE ALWAYS IN KILLOWEN, KENMARE, IRELAND BUT DEFINATELY MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WHO MARRIED KATHLEEN O'SULLIVAN, THEY HAD FOUR CHILDREN THAT WE KNOW OF, JOHN, MARY, DENNIS (DENNYS) AND EUGENE.  JOHN WAS MY GRANDFATHER AND WAS BORN IN 1896 IN IRELAND AND CAME TO ENGLAND APPROX 1910/11, HIS OTHER BROTHER EUGENE WENT TO AUSTRALIA, HIS SISTER MARY WENT TO AMERICA AND MARRIED A MR JORDAN AND HIS OTHER BROTHER DENNIS (DENNYS) STAYED IN IRELAND.  THE BROTHER WHO STAYED IN IRELAND HAD CHILDREN DENNIS, EUGENE AND MARY (THERE MAY HAVE BEEN MORE), I KNOW MARY CAME TO ENGLAND IN 1940'S AND MARRIED A SOLDIER IN DERBY , THE TWO BOYS EUGENE AND DENNIS STAYE IN IRELAND AND ARE STILL I BELIEVE LIVING IN KILLOWEN, KENMARE.  I HAVE CHECKED LOTS OF RECORDS FOR THE CASEYS IN IRELAND BUT I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING OUT ABOUT ANY OF THEM.  I  CAN NOT FIND BIRTH CERTIFICATES, MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES OR DEATH CERTIFICATES FOR ANY OF THEM.  CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE. I AM TOO AM TRYING TO TRACE THE CASEY FAMILY BUT FROM IRELAND - I KNOW THAT MY  GREAT GRANDFATHER LIVED IN KENMARE IN IRELAND AROUND 1880 ONWARDS - HE HAD FOUR CHILDREN I BELIEVE, JOHN, MARY, DENNIS (DENNYS) AND EUGENE - JOHN (MY GRANDFATHER  EMIGRATED TO ENGLAND HE WAS BORN IN 1896 IN IRELAND AND MOVED TO ENGLAND AROUND 1911, I THINK, HIS SISTER MARY EMIGRATED TO AMERICA AND ANOTHER BROTHER TO AUSTRALIA.  THE LAST BROTHER DENNIS (DENNYS) STAYED IN IRELAND.  DENNIS (DENNYS) HAD TWO SONS , EUGENE AND DENNIS THAT I KNOW OF  (WHO STILL LIVE IN KENMARE) AND ONE DAUGHTER MARY WHO CAME TO ENGLAND AND MARRIED A SOLDIER IN 1940S.  I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS ALL CONNNECTED TO YOUR "CASEY FAMILY" BUT I WOULD BE INTERESTING TO FIND OUT.  I HAVE TRIED TO TRACE HISTORY ON THE IRELAND CONNECTION BUT HAVE DRAWN A BLANK EACH TIME.
