Canada / Thomas Pearson - Ontario

Hi

Can anybody please find the death details of Thomas Pearson.

He was born in England in 1847, and married Elizabeth Lowes in 1867.

They had a daughter born in England:

Jane Eleanor Pearson (1868-1953) - married Thomas Watson English in Brant, Ontario.

And then more children born in Brant, Ontario:

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Pearson (born 1870) - died (unsure) - married John James Roberts

Priscilla Pearson (1873-1929) - married William Robson Brockbank

Joseph Wilson Pearson (1874-1963) - married Catherine (surname unsure)

Frances Annie Pearson (1879-1952) - married Charles Edward Meggs

Thomas Pearson's wife (Elizabeth Lowes) died in Brant in 1909, and her name appears on Findagrave:

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/162771168/elizabeth-pearson

It says "wife of Thomas Pearson" which would suggest he was still alive.

But his death isn't mentioned on the same headstone.

Can anybody find his death please?

Thanks

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Glamorgan Archives
« on: Sunday 30 November 25 07:53 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

Does anybody visit the Glamorgan Archives regularly?

If so would it be possible to scan some records from Police Court and Prison Registers please?

I will pay in advance, but the Glamorgan Archives quoted £60 an hour which is far too much.

I have been to the Archives in 2015 but I live in Newcastle so it's too far to visit in person.

Thanks.

Sussex / Baptism of Rebecca Taylor c.1797
« on: Tuesday 28 October 25 05:15 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

My 5 x Great-Grandmother was called Rebecca Taylor.

She was born in Wadhurst, East Sussex according to the 1851, 1861 census (1871 says Woodhurst, Sussex).

1851:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SGLC-N5L?lang=en

1861:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7RQ-9B5?lang=en

1871:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VF8R-Z2S?lang=en

She married John Harvey in Canterbury, Kent on 13th November 1816, but as it's an early marriage no parents are listed.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NNDM-4Q1?lang=en

They moved to Deal, Kent. She died in 1874.

Does anybody have access to Wadhurst baptisms c.1793-1800 to check for a baptism of Rebecca Taylor so that I can find her parents please?

Thanks,

Darin.
