Hi. Don't know exactly where, though I'm told the old family home became the site of the police station. The townland can't be that huge. The name GIBSON certainly doesn't appear after 1800, and it's pre that date I need information.

My starting point was The Cambridge Seven by John Pollock, published by IVF in 1955. Information has subsequently been added/checked using the various materials now available online at ancestry.com.

I've read the various obituaries of Commander Christopher Havergal and would appreciate confirmation of the exact link with Frances Ridley Havergal. Anything else of interest in this area? I can't make sense of the url you give!

I have only been able to look at the 1881 Census.

George Smith Harris b c 1848 in Sheerness, Kent, occupation Blacksmith. Address 18 Sheldon Street, Croydon, Surrey.

Wife Emma FRENCH b c1848 in Charlton, Kent.

FreeBMD says they were married in 1870 in Greenwich.

Children Annette M c 1873, Ernest G c 1876, Walter John 2 Apr 1877, Alice M c 1879.

I have much more on Walter.
