The Common Room / Re: Death of RootsChatter: 'Christopher'
« on: Monday 01 June 09 10:05 BST (UK)  »
So very sad, Christopher gave me a history lesson that i will never forget. He was so helpful and hard working on my petition to save our churches. I know he will be very sadly missed by so many people.

Rest in peace.  May you find all the information you were looking for on the other side.

Lynn.

Hi, I haven't been around for a while as i'm not so well, but to come back to see this is awful. It really infuriates me that people can do things like that. I just don't know what to say as i'm fuming.

I do hope you will take Toni's advice and sign my petition, together we can make a difference, I HOPE !!!

                          Thank you.

I started my research when i was 20, for emigration reasons. I enjoyed it very much so i kept up with it. It cost me a fortune back then without a computer and the help of all my RC friends. I am now 58 and still done know everything about searching as i have only had a computer for a few years.

Hi Christopher,  Thankyou for the links and the article.

It is more heartbreaking then ever when you actually see like that, what is being destroyed :'( :'( :'(

The artwork is brilliant and should be preserved for future generations to come.

I do hope your sister will lend a helping hand.

                  Thanx Again for the Links.

                       Lynn.

Welcome Jake.

When i left Canada to come and live here, that is exactly what i did with 38 of my diary's. I regret it now though.

Just seen this thread. Chances are if he was buried in 1996 he would have been buried at Pleasington Cemetery Blackburn. Not many are buried at the old cemetery these days,it's just a wild field now.

Good Morning Christopher.

No i don't have any other ones circulating, being housebound it would be difficult for me to get them out there. It's a great idea and one that  would also do some good.
Any help from anyone with this would be very much appreciated.

                Thankyou.
                     Lynn.
