 Wonder if Lynne [ NZ]  is looking for James Daglish Father of Abner b1831.His brothers and sisters bapt show his father as James Daglish and his mother as Mary .

It is a problem I have been trying to resolve.

I feel you have the same feelings as me, as I have always been called Bruce since birth and a uncle was always called Abner, I did not know he was Joseph Abner till I started started the family tree. WHY, WHY ?

many thanks for all the info- have got abners marriage certificate. his father is shown as richard. Cannot trace Abners birth certificate

matthew daglish    age 22
abner      daglish     age 20
I am trying to find husband of mary and mary,s maiden name.
