Assume you found Isabella/Isabell as another family member believed her father was John Stewart b Scotland 1820's. I really appreciate your help and will check back her line when my sight improves.
The Jackson first marriage for Mary Ann Wilkinson sounds right but I have no further details on her at this stage.

A friend is trying to trace a Spanish connection due to a health problem which apparently comes down through the female line. The 2 Great grandmothers she is looking for are-
Isabella Francis Stewart married Charles Lewis Slack in NSW Australia in 1878 (will apply for the marriage certificate but Stewart certainly doesn't sound Spanish!)
Mary Ann Wilkinson married William Henry Stanley C1873 she thinks in Australia.
I have a triple image eye problem at the moment so having trouble looking records up, hope you can help.

William James Slack born C1818 Dulwich, Surrey, Migrated to Australia C1840. Married in Maitland NSW Australia on 22nd Feb 1841 to Eleanor Maude/Maria Cormick Born C1816 London. I'm housebound at present so can't get to Genealogy library to check back and thought somone may be researching this line. I believe William's parents were William James Slack (also) and Sarah Stokes. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
