I thanks for the message sorry for late reply not used to using this site and forgot my password.
There are so many Fawcetts in this area until I get a match I will never feel sure they are the right ones.
Fingers crossed one day maybe.

Thanks for the link I'm sure it will be a of use next time.

Spent several hours looking for a grave in Philips Park with no luck despite having visited the grave several years before.

I should have said the one I was looking at was Philips Park not the easiest to find a grave in.

The site is working fine type in a surname and a list comes up withe names and date of burial.

Click on grave number and all names in the grave come up.

If there are lots of different names it is a public grave and not a family grave.

With this information you can go to Manchester Central Library and find full records on micro film.

The  thing that is missing on the grave number is the letter before the grave number and wether it is noncomformist, C of E, RC or Jewish making it difficult to find the actual grave.

Looking for Thomas Fawcett b 1819 married Margaret Finley Children Mary b1836 and John 1844.
Found a connection with William Fawcett b1835 in the 4th Dragoons he gives his birth place as Eddendery Philipstown also in the same regiment a John Fawcett b 1850 Philipstown any help would be appreciated.

Wow what a sight thank you all so much. Originally I had the area as Edenderry and went on another sight didn't get one reply in 3 years to have 3 replys in a day is wonderful.

Hi I wonder if anyone knows of Fawcetts in Dainean
While tracing my family I have found both a William ansd a John in Hulme Manchester who gave there birth place as Philips town. 1835 help would be much appriciated
