A great way to spend Sunday afternoon meeting up with friends from last year and getting to know some new ones this year.

Thanks to Karen for getting the ball rolling and a special thanks to Mab for making all the arrangements.

Hi Karen,

Thanks for keeping me in the loop about the Ontario Roots Chat Meeting.   Really enjoyed last year and getting to put a face to a name.  Unfortunately Aug 17 is already booked in my calendar.
If this is going to be an annual event, hopefully I'll be able to make the next one.

Thanks to Karen and JDC for organizing this gathering.

It's really nice to put a face to a name and swapping stories about our ancestors.

Thanks for the welcome.  No I'm not the regular chatter that Karen has mentioned.
I've only recently joined Rootschat .... my friend JC got me hooked.  I'm looking forward to meeting other chatters on Sunday.

This is one of only a couple of photo's I have of my Dad.  He died when I was 9 years old.
