I have Trainors in my family

John R Trainor born Ireland c 1843 (don't know where)
married  Elizabeth Hall in Sunderland 1863
(just up the road from Middlesborough)
they had 4 children - Mary, Eliza, Catherine(b 1874) and Stephen

Catherine married my gt gt grandfather James Dearden in Newcastle

Hope this helps.

I've recently been looking up my wifes family who came from Berwick and discovered a link with the BURGON family and my wifes (RICHARDSON).

Canada / Alice Lilian Dearden nee Baker - Help
« on: Monday 23 July 07 10:45 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to locate any relatives of Alice Lilian (Lily) Dearden nee Baker who lived in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne. Her relatives lived  in Canada - (Winnipeg area I think) and used to write to her in the 1960's. She was the daughter of Albert Edward Baker and Elizabeth Garside. So I may be looking for either a Garside or a Baker. Sorry to be so vague but I was only a child at the time. Any infomation would be gratefully received.

regards
Jim Dearden

My mother was a Baker and I've recently been following a possible line through Albert Edward Baker (b1871, marr Elizabeth Garside, Newcastle 1896) Albert came from Sweffling, Suffolk. His father was Charles (b1838) who married Maria Woodard (b1842) m 1859. His father was James Baker (b Rendham, b1801) who married Elizabeth Goodwin (b 1799) m 1828, sweffling.
