My Grandfather Henry Winch 21.4.1880 - 14.2.1968 was an apprentice shoe maker in East Ham London. I know he was apprenticed to a Mr Onion, and became a Master Boot Maker with a shop in Greenwich High Street. Does any one have records of Mr Onion's apprentises?
I am also looking for info on Henry's father William Winch 1815 - 1900 also from East Ham London.

I am looking for info on the Winch family William Winch born 1815 -1900 and his son Henry Winch 21/4/1880 -14/2/1968. Henry was apprenticed to a master boot maker Mr Onion but I can find no record of him with the Boot makers or Leather workers Guild. Henry was born in East Ham London then moved to Greenwich where he had a boot and shoe makers shop. Any info appreciated
