Thank you to the kind folk who answered my call for help. I have been an active member of the Rootsweb Channel islands Newsgroup for some time but did not realize what RootsChat had to offer.

This is my first posting, hope it makes sense!   I am told that a relative John Lippett was born in Twyning Gloucestershire in 1849 and that the source for this information was the 1881 birth census. Can anyone confirm this information for me by looking up either this census or birth records for 1849?
