Fermanagh / Look-up Request McKeegan
« on: Sunday 01 July 07 22:42 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I'm looking for information from Fermanagh about the McKeegans

My McKeegan family  moved from Co Fermanagh to St Helen's Lancashire, England
I would love to know why ???

I've been checking records for two years and gathered a long list of Roman Catholic McKeegans who all arrived in St Helen's at about the same time. 1840/50s
I assume they are all of the same family, but I have no proof of this.
Almost all McKeegan's in the North West of England, descend from this group in St Helen's.

They are:
Bryan/Bernard McKeegan born c1782, Wife Ann born c1787
John McKeegan born c1811, Wife Mary born c1822
Patrick McKeegan born 1821, Wife Mary Flanagan born 1831
Dennis McKeegan born c1822, Wife Bridget McCarty born c1827
Elizabeth McKeegan born c1823, Husband James Potter born c1821
Bridget McKeegan born 1824
Thomas McKeegan born c1825, Wife Jane Fagan born 1835
John McKeegan born c1825

All of those mentioned,  were born in Co Fermanagh.
Yet in all British records it is not mentioned where in Fermananagh, they are from ?
or if they are related?

Does anyone have any info on McKeegans?

Montgomeryshire / Kerry TROW's
« on: Sunday 01 July 07 20:37 BST (UK)  »
Hi All
;D I'm new to this website, and this is my first post ;D

Can anyone please help me?

I'm a little stuck, at the top of my Trow tree I have a:
James Trow born 1805 Kerry Wales
Married to Margaret  born 1807 (unsure of maiden name)
Occupation: Jockey
Noted parents: Jane Trow ???

My Trow family moved alot, usually from wales to shropshire and back again

Could James be a relation of Richard Trow?

Does anyone have any more information on this side of the Welsh Trow family?

Lisa
