I have been doing some research for a friend who is descended from John Wilkie and Mary Dudden Thyer via their daughter, Jane Wilkie, who married Albert Saunders Brooks in 1875.

I gather you are also descended from John Wilkie, perhaps we could compare notes ?

Hi

This is my first post on Rootschat, I have been researching the ancestry of a friend who is descended from John Wilkie and Mary Dudden Thyer who were married in Westminster in 1837, and am hoping to find someone else who is researching either of them - I believe a Peter H is interested in Mary Dudden Thyer but I don't know how to get a message to him.

John and Mary's daughter, Jane Wilkie married Albert Saunders Brooks in St Saviour RD in June 1875.

John Wilkie, a baker, died at 32, Chapter Street, Westninster on 29.12.1862.

Hope to hear from anyone who is interested in these people.

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Re: ARTIZAN BUILDINGS

Hi Selby

Just came across your posting while Googling for Artizan's Dwellings, my ancestor, Julia Maria Eugenie Atkinson (nee Dunford) was living at 59/60 Artizan's Dwellings, Hammersmith in 1901, whereas in 1911, although the address on the Census page reads "93, Olaf Street Dwellings, Latimer Road, Notting Hill", on the address cover page the enumerator has written "Mrs Atkinson, 93, Artizan Dwellings".

Hope that helps.

Maybe your ancestor and mine knew each other !

Eunice
