Re: John Craig and Rosanna Craig (nee Craig) - thank you aghadowey and Christopher. All things considered I feel that my best bet is to hope that someone on this list can make a connection with the following:
Jane Craig b. c1803, daughter of John Craig and Rosanna Craig.
Jane married John Carson (b. c1803 Templepatrick), son of James Carson and Elizabeth Little.
As far as I can ascertain, John Carson and Jane Craig married c1823, possibly Kirkinriola.
Children born in Antrim were :
1. John Carson b. c1824 (bap. Kirkinriola 1824 but died in infancy?)
2. Margaret Carson b. c1826
3. Rosanna Carson b. c1829
John Carson, wife Jane Craig and children emigrated to Ayrshire, Scotland c1830. Six (6) children were born at Dunure (Maybole), Ayrshire - Elizabeth, John, Margaret, William, Mary and Agnes.
A connection with either Craig or Carson would be extremely helpful.
