Does anyone have any info please on Cain Smith a gypsy born in Buckinghamshire in 1733.
He is a direct descendant but is married (I think but cannot find a record) to a Sarah Hannah Taylor. Cain and Sarah have a child Wisdom - prince of the gypsies
She is also married and having children with a Tommy Smith (also a gypsy) at the same time with Tommy being the father of Absolom - king of the gypsies.
I keep going around in circles with this part of the tree so if anyone has any useful information I would be so grateful - thank you

Hi
I'm not sure whether I have travelled down a wonky rabbit hole with my tree.
It seems to go
George William Gray b1877 m Martha Dallamore b1877
Messiah  Gray b1856 m Mary Ellen Tuplin b 1856
Sidney Gray b1824 m Roseleta/Violet Rose Smith b1826
William Gray b1796 m Tabitha Smith 1803 (daughter of Wisdom Prince of the gypsies Smith)
Charles Gray b1765 m Aquila Smith b1764

This is where I come unstuck as
I have a Thomas Grey 2nd and Cordelia Fowler as Charles's parents
And Thomas Gray and Elizabeth Rymes Grey as grandparents.
Elizabeth's father comes up as possibly Simon Arnall and Elizabeth Holland - this is very confusing!

Then Aquila's father is listed as Joseph Gray and no mother (that can't be right)
She also has another spouse listed as William Ancorn Smith.
I'm doing it all through Ancestry at the moment with Rootschat and various other genealogy sites.

Are you able to add anything to this please

your tree is almost identical to mine.
Martha and William Gray are my g grandparents.
MY tree goes a bit crazy from Cain upwards as there are a lot of Ambrose Gray's and not all of the family seem to be travellers
My tree is public on ancestry SARAPRYOR
