Thank you Jack! We sure appreciate acknowledgement. ;D

If anyone would be interested in volunteering, or have any B/M/D or Burial transcriptions, Land /Estate records, Passenger lists, maps, photographs, etc. etc. please do consider submitting it. Our site can only grow with the help of others. And we are truly grateful for any and all help.

Wishing everyone good fortune with their ancestor hunt.  ;)

Hello All :D

We have requested of Ancestry to have that web-site url restored. However, you will find us at

http://cotyrone.com/

Recently, we have expanded our focus to include all of 'Ulster Province', which encompasses 9 counties, 6 of which are in Northern Ireland (a part of the United Kingdom) and 3 are in the Republic of Ireland. (Cavan, Donegal & Monaghan)

(my personal focus will always be Co.'s Tyrone & Londonderry)

Any Data, Photographs, or Transcriptions will be very gratefully accepted. Please check back often, as we continue to grow.

We have also introduced our very own 'UlsterAncestry' mailing list

http://lists.cotyrone.com/mailman/listinfo/ulsterancestry

And yes, we are in conjunction with Ulster Ancestry.

http://www.ulsterancestry.com/ua-free-pages.php

Our web-site, first established in 2001, is free to use and the site design, transcriptions, gathering of data & so much more, is done by volunteers. No-one at our site earns a financial benefit, whatsoever. (and we are unlike other sites)

If you should have time available & wish to become involved, please contact me.

Happy Hunting!

« on: Tuesday 08 May 18 04:22 BST (UK)  »
Hello All

The new, expanded web-site, of the 'original county Tyrone Ireland' site, established in 2001 with volunteers & members of the RW mailing list, of the same name, is found at;

http://www.cotyrone.com/

We are still a non-profit, free to use resource, and have just expanded to 'Ulster Ancestry', who we have partnered with to create this new project.

We have also created a mailing list & a Face-book page to compliment our new site

http://lists.cotyrone.com/mailman/listinfo/ulsterancestry

https://www.facebook.com/groups/CoTyroneIrelandGenealogy/

We would like to welcome all new visitors, and volunteers, and we look forward to the expansion!

Cheers~ Teena  ;)

This web-site was established in 2001 with a community of Volunteers, who belonged to the mailing list of the same name, and is for personal research only. Since then, it has expanded to include the generous donations of photos & transcriptions of visitors to the site.  It is non-profit, and contributors retain their copyright. Please visit and support this fabulous community of dedicated volunteers!  ;D

Canada Resources / New site for Canadian Headstone Photos
« on: Saturday 11 July 09 10:37 BST (UK)  »
Hello All

This is a new web-site, which is very user friendly. People can up-load and post their own Headstone Photographs, and all Provinces are available. The mission of this project is to capture digital images of the headstones of our ancestors. As decades pass -- many stones are becoming harder, if not impossible, to read the inscriptions, they originally contained.

Headstones are indexed by province or territory; then county, region, and other geographic divisions which apply to the province or territory; and finally by cemetery.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help take and upload photos for many areas of Canada. We also require volunteers to assist the webmaster, by acting as coordinators. If you have an interest in volunteering for this rewarding part-time activity, please contact us via the on-line form, found here

http://canadianheadstones.com/on/contact_us.php

At The Canadian Headstone Photos Project, we also have links to the Counties of Tyrone and Fermanagh, and many of the States in the US, as well.

Thank you and happy Hunting :D
