Hello,
I have found a burial record on the Manchester Burials on line for Elizabeth Rogers:

06/04/1855 Elizabeth Rogers   Manchester General Cemetery   UnknownSection Unknown 18550406 .

Would anyone be able to tell me if an address is attached to this record.

Any help appreciated.

Many thanks for your reply and Happy New Year to you too.

If it helps with your study the children listed on the 1861 census  James, Bridget and Patrick are wrongly listed as (Rossiters) they are in fact children from Catherine's first marriage to James Kennedy.

I am a descendant of Bridget (Kennedy), but I haven't been able to find anything more about her brothers James and Patrick.

William Rossiter married Catherine Kennedy a widow in Liverpool in 1853.
William's parents were Robert & Mary.

I did obtain a copy birth certificate for a William Rossiter born 1857 Manchester but it wasn't the right one as it gave the fathers name as James.

Hi,
In your one name study have come across a William Rossiter born abt 1855/6 Manchester ?.  I can only find him in the 1861 & 1871 census, where he is living with his parents William & Catherine in Manchester.  Although in 1893 he is recorded on a baptism at St Patrick R C as a godparent. His father William died in 1880.

Hello,
I am looking for more information on the Swift family.
Thomas Swift born abt 1876 Lancashire England married Catherine Whalen in 1906, Boston.
They had children Walter, Anna and Thomas. I have the 1910-1940 census records from Family Search. But would like to know if the children married and when and where Thomas & Catherine were buried. A big ask but any help appreciated.

Hello BC,
Yes, this is a great site, and we are indeed distant cousins. It's good to know that Hannah Dodd and James Aykroyd made a great life for themselves in America. Even nicer I was able to make friends with
Gail, who I believe may be your aunt. We have had some very interesting exchanges. I think there is still much more to learn about the Aykroyd's in England.

Hello Gail,
Lovely to hear from you.

I was interested in tracing the siblings of my gt gt grandmother Ann Dodd, one of which was Hannah who married James Aykroyd, and as you can see, Sandra was a whizz at finding information for me.

Your gt grandmother Hannah, was the daughter of Thomas Dodd and Alice Charles.
They had 11 children,  4 died in infancy.

There is a lot to relate so I will send you a P.M.
