Kirkcudbrightshire / Newbridge village terreglesI
« on: Tuesday 28 January 25 14:51 GMT (UK)  »
I   must firstly thank a rootschatter from last year who put me on this  trail to find the location of the Newbridge farm  farmhouse that was demolished when the road was straightened. My Kerr family ancestors still lived in the farmhouse in the 1930s.My question is, does anyone in Newbridge have any information regarding any trace of the house. Here is hoping ,STOOP.

I am interested in the family of James edward Curran. I think that James may have been born in Northern Ireland 2nd June 1896 .he married Sarah kerr at kilmarnock in December 1919.. they were both employed in the insurance business. I have not been able to trace their movements in any census. I am hoping someone is familiar with this family, thanking you STOOP.
