Hi,

I need some help please with dating the frame and picture below and also if the picture is a painting or a shaded photo. The frame has a boarder and some flowers on it made of plaster and the glass is a bubble shape. I have been told the picture is off my gg grandfather 1851-1910 who lived in Folkestone, Kent England. Any information would be great.

I have just posted a second picture of the same family less the father, the missing little boy is in the same position with his mother, maybe you could do something with him from that photo.

This is a photo of my grandfather and his family. I would like to be able to give him a nice copy as he is now 97. I have only just started restoring photos and need more practice.

Thanks Gadet, The photo is in terrbile condition and is not going to be easy to restore. I very much appreciate your time. Good news the father come home from the war.

I have tried a couple off times to restore this photo, just can't  seem to get it right. I'm a first time poster on this site and have seen some great restoration work. Would appreciate if someone could help me out.
