Hi Ken,
Could you tell me what is your link to the 'Shorrock' family tree?
Sorry it's short and sweet but don't know anything about you!

thanks
Debbie

Hi Dawn,
Thanks for your reply.  I spoke to Don (my brother) yesterday while we were at my dad's(also Don)70th Birthday and he said he had contacted you,but there must have been some confusion as he thought you were going to get in touch. Unfortunately I don't know where Bernard was buried as I am very new to all of this. I did try tracing our roots about 10 years ago but it took too much time with having a young family. The only item I have is a copy of Bernards Birth certificate. Sorry can't be of more help. Dad said he has a photo of himself as a child with Great Grandad somewhere (presumably out of uniform) if I find it I will send you a copy. By the way my grandads name was Leonard not George. don't know where I got that idea from!  How long have you been tracing our family tree for?
Debbie

Hi Dawn,

Just been looking at info on Bernard Shorrock as I thought I'd have a go at starting our family tree. I see that you are already well into it now.  Bernard is my great grandfather, George is my Grandfather and Donald my father.  Do you have a copy of a newspaper cutting of Bernard from the Evening Chronicle with regards to his retirement as I have a copy and could send it to you.  Could you just keep me up-to-date with a quick overview on how you are related etc.

Thanks
Debbie
