I pass this house most days but the only clues i can give you are a post box set into the house with G R on it (now unused) and the back windows have been bricked up.

Not much to go on.

Oxfordshire / Didcot PR lookup 1750-1765, Bradbery
« on: Wednesday 22 August 07 10:02 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find a link between two family trees.

I have found the family from Culham but I now need to find the ones from Didcot.

Would anyone be able to look up the Bradbery births for me between 1750 and 1765?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

London and Middlesex / Can anybody do a lookup for Marylebone
« on: Monday 04 June 07 21:25 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I have today found out that one of my ancestors surname is Wood.  This is Louisa's maiden name.
She was born in 1804 and all the census returns show her as being born in Marylebone.  Is it possible for anybody to look this up if they have easy access to the parish registers please?
So that is Louisa Wood born in Marylebone in 1804.
I am also interested to know if anybody can point me to a web site that actually lists all the churches in the districts around London.
There seem to be lots of churches with the same name and it does get confusing.
Thanks
Vince

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Pimlico burials
« on: Wednesday 09 May 07 17:13 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to trace ancestors who lived in Pimlico and more specifically where they would have been buried.  Would anybody know where somebody who lived in Little Ebury Street in 1880 would have been buried?  I know he is not in the Hanwell or East Finchley Cemeteries as I have already checked there.  Other cemeteries on my list all want to charge loads to do a search (one wants £45).
Any help or info would be absolutely terrific.
Thanks
Vince

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Lambeth Cemetery look-up
« on: Wednesday 02 May 07 18:44 BST (UK)  »
Does anybody live near the Lambeth Cemetery and are able to visit a grave and see if there is a stone on it.  The name is Robert Woodley who died aged 47 in 1918.  The grave number is 285 and there is also what appears to be H3rd or H13rd after the grave number.  Any help with this would be most appreciated.
Thanks
