I think this family came to the UK at some point as they seem to have had another child born here in the UK ( Lincolnshire)

Im looking for and census details for a Paterson family.
1930 and 1940 census

names are;
Charles Patterson - father
Grace Patterson - mother
Charles - son
Betty Patterson - daughter
I know they are in Pennsylvania and that is all.
Sorry there is not much info to go on!
Can anyone tell me if there are other family members at these dates living with them or any other info at all. ???

Wow thank you so much for the information. I knew he married a Sarah Stokes and remarried a Elizabeth but I just could not find the marriage for him and Sarah anywhere!    I have that he was a agr labourer and that was about it.   Sorry if I confused anyone with my dates.....im a bit out of touch with it all. I appreciate all of your help!   Sarah had a son called Johnson Slote but for some reason I have written down that his father was NOT Benjamin so I was looking for the information I must have come across before to give me that impression so I was trying to start from Sarah and benjamins wedding and work from there.    :)

Hi Wonder if anyone can help me. I have not been on here for many years so its a bit new to me again!  Im looking for a marriage of a Benjamin Slote to a lady called Sarah Stokes. Benjamin was born abt 1832 as he has been found on the 1841 census aged 35 years old.
Any information would be a great help.

Oh.... :-\ well on the envelopes it says US Navy spearfish and sub division 61.   I have never looked into anything like this so just do not have a clue!  It also is addressed to San Francisco calif i think the last word says calif.

I posted not so long ago about a Ralph Ward who I have come into contact of some personal letters addressed to him. I owuld love to be able to pas this info on to his family somehow.  I have had no luck in posting for anyone looking for him but Im so interested in searching for his details myself. How do i go about looking for him on such little information?  OR am I trying to do something that is impossible!!?  I would be greatfull of any help trying to research this man further x

World War Two / Anyone researching a Ralph Ward WW2 on sub spearfish?

I was wondering if anyone is researching a Ralph Ward WW2 serving in the Navy on Submarine called spearfish.  I have found some letters etc from his family to him and other bits.  I would love to be able to let the family read all these bits if they are a history fan like myself.  I have come across these by fluke I have no idea who this chappy is I think he is from the USA San Fansisco well that where the letters were addressed to. Im not sure how to find out anymore about him really!
Any ideas how i can find anymore about him as i know nothing else as i would love to research him more just for myself :)

Hi i am looking for the wedding details for some of my great grandparents they were both born in Lincolnshire and they had a son who was their first child in 1916. The father was called John Kennedy and the mother was called Edith Simpson.  I know very little else about these at the mo but am trying to find out when they wed.   Can anyone help me with the search i have tried to go through ancestry but have come up with nothing.....think i have gone sqaure eyed looking......
