Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Re: Pittard
« on: Sunday 26 April 09 18:47 BST (UK)  »
I had someone contact me searching the same name and it has got me wanting to do more research, but I have limited time at the moment and I have not had a chance to look at my records. But as soon as I do I will be back.  I did get a lot of help in 2007 from all of you and that was great.  I will be reviewing all my info and will then ask for help.

Thanks for the reply

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Pittard
« on: Sunday 26 April 09 17:51 BST (UK)  »
I have been researching for a couple of years  One search was Pittard Family, in Cardiff. I started off trying to research too many names both on my mothers side and my fathers side.  I am now going to research one name at a time. I am starting back and will be asking for help.  First of all Are we any closer to the 1911 census for Glamorganshire? I am chomping at the bitt waiting to find out where some of my relatives are.

Thanks for

oops I was not ready to send my message.  So, To the moderators "THANK YOU"  for all you do to hepl us. To all the people who have helped me. I really appreciate the time you take to help. Without you all I would not have learned so much about my ancestors.  I am taking a break from research for a while, but I hope to return soon

I hope all my fellow rootschatters had a wonderful Christmas and will have a "HAPPY NEW YEAR".

That is what I thought Arranroots.  It is kind of complicated but for reasons which I will not go into, I can not e-mail him.

I am going to text him and wait for a response.

Thanks everyone for your help.

Will be on the Welsh boards soon.

best wishes

Thanks Andy,

I was more concerned with how much it would cost my brother if I phoned him.

Thank you Zoe and Nell.

Now I just have to find out if I need to use an international code first or just dial the number.

Technical Help / making sense of telephone number
« on: Sunday 26 October 08 20:28 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all,

I recently went to the U.K. to track down family and do some research.  I had a wonderful time, but could not track down my brother.  The day I returned to Canada I checked my e-mails and there was one from my brother saying he would like to get in touch. He put down his telephone number, but I am not sure if it is a cell phone or land line and I was wondering if I put the first few numbers could someone tell me where the area was, and if it is a cell phone number.

07815

Thanks for any help.

Kassie
