Armed Forces / The 'Y' List but medically fit

Forgive me if i'm wrong, But when I looked up the 'Y' List, I found that this List was for men who were injured, sick or Prisoners of War.
My grandad has his medical and was classed as A1...then he was put on the 'Y' List 3 days later and into the reserve.
Could it have been that he got sick or injured in this time?

On this Section, It says he was in North West Europe til 18/10/45
The only thing I can think is he didn't take up the extended leave? But then why wouldn't it say that he returned?

So according to this record, my grandad left for D-day on the 02/06/44.
He was then granted Agriculture Leave on the 26/08/45....and it was extended until the 20/10/45.
But then it says he embarked to the Uk on the 19/10/45 and Left the BAOR to either Warrant Officer or War Office Control??
I am confused, as it says the Leave was in august til October...Location NWE (North West Europe)
BUT...If he was back home in England on Ag Leave, then why does it say he embarked FOR the Uk in October?
So Confused!
