I am blown away by how kind, comprehensive and positive you have been in responding to my request.
As a new member to RootsChat, I must say that I am very impressed by everyones caring approach.

I guess next steps would be to scout the surrounding villages and parishes to see what happened to the family. Clearly at least two ended up at Frenchay. I know one child, Charles, moved to Plymouth. I am struggling to find out what happened to the others?
A trip to Trowbridge may provide the answer, but before 30th April when it closes. Otherwise, I understand it is a case of waiting until 1st November before the records become accessible again at Chippenham.
