Could anyone please restore this photo? My parents have it in a frame at home but it looks awful and it's the only one. I think they've maybe had an argument at some point and it's been ripped in half! That's what it looks like to me.... Not too bothered about colouring if the cracks could be covered.

Don't know if this helps but he's definitely an Officer in the Merchant Navy working for a shipping line. Apparently the 'houseflags' on his cap will reveal the actual line but is was too blurred for the guys to see.

I've cropped the photo right down to just the cap emblem and posted it on another site. I'll let you know if they come up with anything.

I changed the photo at my mum's request. She would love to see my Granda restored with some colour. He had light brown hair as a child and greeny-hazel eyes.
