Thanks for your reply Diane......I can't remember anyone by the name of Dickens but A,H was a huge place,I worked in the main machine/shop 1950 to 1955.
I would be very interested in anything about A.H.,could we arrange something.
I should tell you that I now live in N.S.W Australia.

1950-1955.

The Edgwick works had the biggest machine shop in europe and I was staggered to see the whole works had disappeared when I looked a few weeks ago.
Tried to find the books you mentioned but no luck..however I'II keep trying.

Thanks Al,  Hinckley doesn't seem right.
I have found........1919.Winifred L Brightwell married Smith in Nuneaton
(Bulkington) dist.
Which Smith I don't know,but it looks promising....more sleuthing
required....Thanks again.

Tom Smith was born..1892.[Sorry about wrong birth given before] :- His father ..Tom Smith was born..1856 and married Mary Anne Peters
in Sept .1881 in Nuneaton district. :-\
I'll just have to keep trying. ;)
