Hi Seanmac, thank you for the information on Lett families in Wexford.  I have sent a message to G.H. Lett but so far have not received a reply, but always hopeful.

Thank you Shane, this is terrific.   At least something to go on for a change.   I will also look at other graveyards as you suggested.

Annie :)

Thank you Shane.   I had looked at the Griffiths Valuations and found Clonleigh but I hadn't looked at Slaters Directory.   I'm pretty sure that my Thomas is the one at Clonleigh, the trick is finding out more information :)

I will look up Slaters and see what I can find.   I'm sure there aren't too many Letts around.

Clare / Re: O'BRIEN/FALSEY families - Kilmuury

Hi Megan

You are the first person I have come across researching the Falsey line.   Patrick Falsey was born about 1809 and married in 1840, so there certainly could be a relationship there.   Whereabouts in Co. Clare is Shragh.

Annie

Clare / O'BRIEN/FALSEY families - Kilmuury
« on: Saturday 02 August 08 00:55 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to trace a Cornelius O'Brien and his wife Mary.   Cornelius was a blacksmith and they came from Kilmurry Ibracken I think.  Not sure though.   One of their daughters Honora O'Brien, was born in 1820, and married a Patrick Falsey in 1840.   They had two children, Mary and Margaret before they migrated to Australia in 1840's.     Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Annie  :)

Wexford / Thomas LETT, New Ross, Wexford
« on: Saturday 02 August 08 00:49 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to trace my husband's ggrandfather, Nathaniel Lett.   Nathaniel migrated to Australia in 1860.   His marriage and death certificates state that he was born in New Ross, Co. Wexford and his parents were Thomas Lett and Mary Shea.

Does anyone have any information on this family.   I was looking at various sites this morning and I think they might have come from the Clonleigh area of New Ross.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have hit a very big brick wall with this family.

Thank you
Annie  :)

I noticed a topic you had on Shearings, Dorset and Hampshire.  I am doing research on the Shearing families in those areas at the moment.   I would be interested to hear from you.

Hello,
I've just logged on after a long time away and noticed you are wanting information on Richard Winchester.

Caroline White is one of my relatives and she married Richard Winchester unfortunately I've been unable to find his parents either.

Have you been able to find any more information on them.   Would be interested to know as I am in England at the moment.
