Ayrshire / Re: William Hunter (Freeman of Prestwick c1800)
« on: Thursday 14 July 11 03:10 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I don't know if Margaret and Christian were sisters. I know that Christian McClatchie was married to an Adam Hunter in Prestwick at around the same time so it is reasonable to think that William and Adam were related and that Margaret and Christian were also related.

Jiesy

Adam Hunter who was married to Christian McClatchie is the son of John Hunter Freeman of Prestwick and Anna Lees.  John did have a brother named William but I have his wife as Jean Wilson.  I do not see a lot of McClatchie's in that area around that time so also suspect that Christian and Margaret many be related as well.
