Thankyou for your posts..all help is very much appreciated!!
I live in Cumbria England so as you can imagine trying to trace back thru Irish records is proving difficult...I did get some info from Church LDS but came to standstill again!!
I can see why it takes a long time to do this but I am having fun. Never been to Ireland either but am intending to make my journey of discovery when I have a bit more to go on!! Keep up the good work and once again I appreciate so much your help!!

Thanks for info....have just had a look and I see what you mean, there are quite a few names there!!! I also had a look for the Frain's from Co Mayo (my other Great Great Grandparents) and found some more names....so much appreciated thanks again!!

Thanks so much for reply and info.....I think there is a great possibility that the names you mentioned are my relatives and there is a sister i didn't know about if this is so. I know what you mean about ages and dates there are so many differences when I follow the British censuses....even names seem to change!!!! However I love a good puzzle!!

Hi!
Has anyone info on the family name Yore. Great great grandparents Patrick Yore and Alice(nee McDermott) left Meath to Co Durham England. They were both born around 1820's. Any info much appreciated!!

Mayo / Frain Family Info

Hello all!
Am new to this so please bear with me!! I am researching the Frain family from Swineford area. Info I have so far is my great great grandfather Thomas Frain (son of Patrick) married Bridget Dunlevy (daughter of Michael Dunlevy) on 29th Jan 1865 in the chapel of Kilmovee. They had sons John(1867), Patrick, my great grandfather(1869), Michael(1871), Thomas(1873) and Martin(1876). I only know what happened to Patrick but am very interested to know if anyone has any info on any of the other brothers or wider family.
