i've just checked the webiste this is what it says on the front page of UK surnames

Hi Amy,

I had a fiddle with this i hope you dont mind.   I,m not very good but i think there is a little improvement. 

I use PSP 8 , you can download a free trial at www.jasc.com.  There are lots of tutorials on the net to restore old photographs, just do a google.
