Well done I admire your patience is it not a such a shame that with all the artistic occupations little has survived in Manchester. Except I did read about the remnants of a silk factory during a Manchester excavation. My mother told that the young girls became almost blind with the exacting work.
Kind regards
Pat

Dear Carole W
They are the sureties concerning breaking of the peace by three people. I am looking for any additional details that may be listed other than the names of those involved.
So sorry I am late in thanking you,
Kind regards,
Pat

Dear Heather

Thank you so much for the Caton Street and its history in the War, also for the registrations and the marriage of Isabella. It was indexed also on Free Reg, but its nice to see the original so I will use Family Search as you suggested. Also for the 1871 additional details I was sorry to see young Ada working as a servant in the 1881 at the age of 11. I think I may have found a death reg. for her mother prior to this census, so that's probably why. So sad that she was put to work. Family history can be so reflective on the life and times of the era and it makes me feel for them. She should have been still playing with her dolls!
I have a lot of work to do to confirm this family's history and I really appreciate your input. So a big thank you for getting me started on the right track.
Kindest regards,
Pat
