I came to the conclusion that 1 Omega Terrace was 8 Burnsall Street some years ago, I recently saw the blue plaque for Diana Dors on the next door house and decided to double check my findings. I’ve not seen this so am pleased others agree. The reason I was also interested is because my g.grandmother was born there in 1878. Small world.

If you are still interested in the history of St John's convalescent home Walpole Road, my dad was there for about 9 months between Sept 1934 and June 1935 when he was 6 years old. He had pneumonia and his little brother had died from pneumonia in May 1934. I have some cards and letters which were written by him and sent home to his parents in Battersea, some have comments from 'Sister Superior'. If you see this and are interested I could maybe scan some and attach them for you, or perhaps photocopy them and send them to St Johns if you still work there.
