Does anyone recognise a John Cunningham born 1903 died 1966 in Leeds, father Joseph b about 1868 and Annie Elizabeth b 1880  living in Mirfield in the 1911 census.  He had a wife called Peggy and I would like to trace her death/

Hello Cuss

It sounds very much like the Douglas William Tomlinson I am looking for.  He had three daughters by his first marriage to Nancy jones and their children were Vivian b 1950's Eileen b 1940's and Hilary b 1950's.  He went on to marry Carolyn Procter in Macclesfield.  If this sounds right could you please PM me then i will let you know why we are looking for his family.

That can't be him as he married for the second time in 1976 in Macclesfield.  i realise it was a long shot and that i shall have to buy the birth certificate.  i am not sure it is him although Derby is quite near to where he lived in the area of Newcastle under Lyne and Macclesfield and I cannot find any other birth except the one  in Derby.

Thank you Carol no but It may have been Chesterfield   I just wanted to avoid buying the certificate but may have to thanks.  Marcia

I have found what I think is my Douglas on Freebmd Qtr Dec 1920 - Registration district Derby.  and wonder if anyone has the baptism transcriptions. The mother's name is given as Wright  I would dearly like to know what the mother and father's christian names were and any other information that it is on.

Yes I have him  in those two and the 61 census as well aged 75 watchmaker so he must have died between then and the 71 census with daughter Margaret and two grandchildren. I haven't got the marriage record of Owen but i do have his death cert if you would like to exchange. Let me know if you can't get the photo to open
