Sincerest thanks to all contributors. Apologies for my tardy response. I was confined to hospital for 9 days with a severe bout of Influenza A and isolated in the Acute Medical Unit. Stir-crazy!

G'day Josh, it's good to hear from you. Please relay my warmest wishes to your extended family from "God's Backyard Down-Under!" I look forward to your input. Do you retain my private email address? If not, my sister Norah in Saltcoats is your next best bet.

My deceased aunt's birth was registered in two separate Parishes; where she was actually born and where her mother and her mother's family were all born and resident. Both Parishes were on opposite sides of the country.

Thank you both for your efforts which furthers my research.
John McKean Tait passed 1913 at Burntisland.
I assumed Mary married in Canada but was unable to figure out where to search - many thanks.

Canada / Mary Tait of Keswick

Seeking any further information data for my private genealogy. Mary TAIT (b. 1908, Burntisland, Scotland) arrived in Canada 3rd May 1931 onboard SS Athenia. Her destination was sister Jessie, c/o 16 Garfield Avenue, Toronto. Mary married a gent whose forename was Adam (surname unknown) and had at least 2 sons. The family lived in Keswick, duration unknown. Mary's siblings were Jessie, Catherine and brother James. All were born in Burntisland but emigrated to Canada during the 1930s.
