Many thanks for your reply.

I've not heard of their Smart Stories...is it on the program or a separate one? I think I'm running FTM 09 so not a new one  ::)

I suppose I want to give a professional look so that when my friend's mum gets it for her birthday she'll be really impressed!! Just not sure whether to do all documents from the maternal side then paternal or more in generations??

Hi Everyone,

I'm researching my friends family for her but not sure how to report it.  I've got reports/charts etc from my family tree maker but wondering how other people present their findings.  Do any of you know any samples/templates online?

Any ideas or things that you think I should or shouldn't do then please let me know.  I am including things such as parish registers (birth & marriage), census returns etc.  I am looking at doing paid research in the future so I would like it to look professional.

Many thx,
Kelly x

Hi Tom!

I didn't like to ask again so that's why I opened it to everyone!!!!  Would it still be possible for you to send me the photo of my nan's birth record?

Ok, the details I have re the marriage are:
Names: Annie Stewart - Henry George William Sayce
Date: Unsure but possibly between 1940-1945
Place: Again, unsure, maybe around Blantyre area but not definite.

The birth details of my aunt are:
Name: Mary Ann Francis Sayce
Date: 2nd Nov 1943
Place: Unsure

Many thanks Tom.  Whatever details you can get will be very much appreciated.

Kelly xx

Lanarkshire / Marriage (and birth) Lookup c.1940
« on: Sunday 19 August 07 21:01 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I'm trying to find the marriage details of my grandmother & grandfather.  My grandmother was Annie Stewart b.1923 (thanks Tom!) in Blantyre and my grandfather Henry George William Sayce b.1923 in Bethnal Green, London.  Although they finally lived in London from at least 1954 I cannot find their marriage register or the birth of their first child Mary Ann Francis Sayce b.abt 1943.

I was wondering if any kind soul could look up the marriage details for me and if they have the time the birth of Mary.  Unfortunately, I don't know the year they were married but as my grandmother was born in 1923 and Mary was born about 1943 I'm assuming it would've been between 1940 and 1943 and probably around the Blantyre area (although that's not definite).

Many thanks,
Kelly x

Hi,

The details would be perfect!!  I had an idea of what her parents name were and I have found their marriage details which has given me some information but if you think there would be extra information on the birth cert I'd be very grateful for anything you could help with.
