Hi,
I am trying to find out who lived at Bramwood, 19 Hall garth Pickering North Yorkshire.(18th century listed property.

I have the following names from Baines Directory 1823, and pigots 1834 for Hall garth.

Rev Gabriel Croft (i suspect he lived at the vicarage)
rev john ponsonby (vicar, vicarage)
mathhew hayes esq (rectory house)
loy Martin augustine, MD
Robert pattinson - auctioneer and appraiser
William Birdsall, surgeon
John Whitfield, Gent

Any info on the early residents of this house would be appreciated.

My father in law is a descendant of this couple.

Hi,

Have i got this right Mary's birth surname was  Wilkinson she had an illegitimate daughter Maria Wilkinson, then she married John Doyle, then later mary married Patrick Murray which meant that her daughter Maria Wilkinson took the name Murray?  Have i got this right or have i got it completly wrong??

Patrick Murray c1837 born Ireland Occ Brewrey lab.
mary ann wife c 1839 born Ireland
James son c1867 errand boy
William son born Preston lancs
maria stepdaughter born ireland
Above family living 42 Harrington St, Preston Lancs in 1881

Any other children turn up in 1871? possibly a Robert Murray born 1858

On the marriage cert (1889) Murray/Mccaslin  are living at 18 and 20 Henderson Street Toxteth Park.
