Thank you Shorts for your post, every little bit of info often reveals something new.  My main interest is the descendants of Bridget Graham nee Curran.   I have not been able to establish a certified or confirmed link to my family. A cousin has said the link is via Mary Curran Graham daughter of Bridget, Mary is supposed to have married a John McAuliffe and then had a daughter Johanna Elizabeth.  Eager Bega

Hi, is there a connection between Edward Draper (snr) born in Mauritius in 1826/7 that moved to Bendigo Australia with colonel Edward Alured Draper? My great great grand father is Edward Draper Snr.

Thanks

Hi Jazz, Can you tell me who Edward Draper senior is who went to Bendigo.........assume he had a son Edward?  What family are you connected to?  Regards Eagerbega.

Dear Fanny, You do not say what your interest is in the Draper Family, Eager Bega

Hello,

I am late joining the conversation but I am also very interested in the family of Edward Alured Draper and what might have happened to one son, who I believe was one of only two surviving children.

Looking forward to any feedback.
Best regards.

Fanny

Dear Fanny, It is almost two years since this enquiry was listed, answered and completed.   Colonel Edward is my 2 x great grandfather.  I am not sure what you mean by feedback.  regards Eager Bega.

Dear Rosie99 and NDRFT,
Yes this is the family.   Marriage at Yorkshire is Edward's parents as Rosie has replied.    I am grateful for the information from NDRFT, the birthdate of 1776 is listed on wikipedia and also in some of the Gentlemen's Magazine articles.  However there has been several articles saying Werton as place of birth.  Hunting around the net I found it had to be Nether Worton........     NDRFT did you find these on a parish data base.    I did know he had a sister Louisa as she is listed on another website...Louisa married a Thomas Bolton and that family took the surname Draper-Bolton.   Diana I didn't find.  But think William is listed on another eBook.    NDRFT where would I obtain copies of these baptisms.  Many thanks.

Hi
I sent an application for a birth to the Civil Status authority with payment several years ago.  My great grandfather born there, about 1826/27 I didn't have the exact date so they wouldn't search those years for me.  Their website gives you the fees which is not huge, but you need to send to them.   However, you will need exact dates.  Have a look at these websites.  May help.
