yn9man, I responded to your personal e-mail with all of John and Julia's childrens names that I could track down.  Im a little new at  rootschat not sure where it went!  :P

I am not exactly sure where Roberts picture was taken.  I had heard Middletown, Ct,  it may have also been at the State Library in Hartford,

It sounds like a lot of our family made it across the pond, more than I originally thought.  Also got your personal note.  Thanks.

Here is a picture of my Great granddad Robert Jardine, probably taken in the 1920s.  See any family resemblance?

Also found a record of John and Julia's daughter Julia Jardine marrying John Flockhart in Scotland on November 12, 1880.

John and Julia are my great great grand parents.  In 1880 my greatgrand father Robert was living in Bennington Vermont with his wife, several children and his brother James.  Both Robert and James married Annies.  Robert ended up in Hartford Connecticut.  James ended up in Berkerley California.  Sadly my great grandparents had to bury 4 of their adult sons before they passed themselves.

The small grave stone to the left and the three in the rear of their stone are the markers of four of their sons.

Im in the US.  If you dont mind me asking where are you located, and how might we be related.
