In the Old Cumnock Church yard there is a headstone to James WEIR, late in Auchingibert, who died 30 June 1810
age 72 years.
A testament for this James WEIR makes mentiion of a (2nd?)  spouse named Janet HOWATSON

"The Visitation of England & Wales" by JJ Howard (1898) in Volume 6 under the subject WALKER of the Elms, Wakefield co York. states John WALKER was born at Wood Hall co. York 13 Feb and baptised at the Darfield  Parish Church on the 26 Mar 1784.
It further says John was the son of Thomas WALKER of Wood Hall by his wife Anne his wife daughter of Neville BLAGUE of Whitwood co. York.

John WALKER married at Darfield parish church on 16 Jan 1816 Hannah MILNES the only daughter of William MILNES
The Index To English Probates show one of the executors of the will of the above John WALKER who was of Kexborough and who died 5 Oct 1875 at Dalton Pava near Rotherham was his son William Milnes WALKER of Round Green near Barnsley, farmer.
