Thank you so much for the information.  I've only just noticed your replies. I think they could have married in stoke as it may have been to look a bit posh  ;D I have another relative that came from the potteries who married at Astbury Church in Cheshire. I've not done much on my tree for years as I hit a brick wall , but since then more information has been released census wise .I need to re acquaint myself with my deceased relatives on my pc 🤣

Cheers Steve for replying to my post and your kind offer , I must admit I have done no more research since I created my post but I'm now hoping that as the nights are drawing in I'm hoping to get stuck in to it
I've had a look at the surnames in your list Garstonite but as of yet I have no matches to the ones you have put up.

Europe / Tracing Italian ancestors
« on: Saturday 01 September 18 18:21 BST (UK)  »
Hi there , after a long absence from the group I'm back 😁
While I'm sort of up to speed tracing UK ancestors I'm now on the hunt for the Italians. I've got a free trial of My heritage but it does seem a bit lacking in some areas like marriages. I'm sure  that someone here must have a vast experience of tracing foreign ancestors and wondered if anyone can advise of places to look on line in the quest to find out more about them  ?
Or how is the best way to go about searching
Many thanks for reading this and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Little Blue 😁😁 ::)

Don't think i got any futher with it to be honest , if you would like to pm me we can perhaps collaborate on what we have to see if we have a connection and then  post the info on here. Have to admit my family history has taken a back seat  just lately due to other things going on  ;D
Be nice to hear from you
