Hi Mo,

thanks once again for your in put.We have had the same problems when researching our Eadon branch of the family but found they were Heaton in 41census Eaton in the 51 census and Eadon in the following census records prior to that in 1829 marriage cert was Eadon . And suspect the Eden is in there as well.

                                    Jim.

Hi Listers,
               Seeking information for Henry Seddon,

In 1865 Henry was serving as a private with the Hm 12th Lancers stationed at Hillsborough Barracks Sheffield,in april 1865 he Married Elizabeth Mills of White Croft Sheffield.the marriage certificate gives age for both as full and Henrys father as John Seddon occupation collier.

Some kind person has checked the 1871 census for Aldershot where the 12th Lancers were then serving.Henrys suname given as Siddons age 33 unmarried address shown him as coming from Wardley Lancs,This Henry must be the same Henry Seddon as in the 1881 census His wife Elizabeth is shown as Siddons still living at White Croft where she was married from but was shown as a widow

In 1889 thier daugther married and certificate shows father as Henry Seddon.( soldier)

On the information given can anyone help with a birth date and an address where he and his father/ mother siblings were living.

                thank you .
                                 Jim (sheffield)
