 I have been searching this family and have the marriage cert for William Guy & Frances Mound ,  & for Frances Jan Guy &  Neil  Butters , William 's father was John and mother Catherine Chapman so  she must   have been Isaac sister. We have a tree with the butters back to neils father and with some help a fair bit on the mounds.

            I am interested in Frances Mound she was born 1815 St Marylebone ,Father Edward b: 1785 St Martins Biringham Eng and mother Elizabeth Turner  b: 1780 married 1804 Eng. Edwards Father I think was John Mound b:1768 Shropshire.

           I to am searching Sowray and have found it spelt souray as well,
my search is in yorkshire my gggrandfather was William Henry Sowray b:1851 he Married Ellen Evens 1871 came to Australia 1876 he had Joseph William Sowray ,Augustine Sowray   when arrived in Australia there was a Margaret St James Sowray b :1876 and the ship docked 27/1/1876 my problem is I have never herd of margaret but of Katherine St James Sowray 7/1/1876, there was a story my grandfather used to tell of his grandmother being born on the way to Australia and that she was a twin but , so one must have passed away but why the swap of names , would you know if they register the birth on the ship or when they get of maybe just decieded that Katherine was better name and the ship was the "St james "hence the middle name assisited passage and there name was spelt Souray . Wounder if we are family some how .

      Could anyone look up for me John Lock and wife Sarah ,they had children 3 or maybe 4 . John lock was born Larling Norfolk in 1791 and later must have moved to Essex as he appears in Court for stealing a horse in Witham, County Essex. could someone help me find his children, they married 1816 in East Wretham so at a guess there first child would have been born 1816/1817. but where have no Idea  .

     Thankyou for your reply I have just found that John was found to live in the parish of Witham, County of Essex on the 20th /August 1824 when he stole a GELDING  and was in 8th December he appears before Mr Justice Burrough, Essex Special Goal Delivery held at Chelmsford and Convicted. So his family may have been in Witham ,Essex . So could anyone help me find the family there of John and Sarah Lock.

    looking for locke family Larling Norfolk b:1791 John Locke M: Sarah Duffield 1816 had 4 children before he was sent to Australia for life sentence he arrived Australia 1826.

1.Jonathan Locke M: Mary_____
          2.  John Locke M: Mary _______
                 3. Henry Lock
                 3. Jonathan Locke  B: 25/12/1768 Larling Norfolk M:Sarah Elmer
                       4. John Locke B:1791 Larling Norfolk M: Sarah Duffield 3/6/1816
                        4. Robert Locke B :1800 Larling transported to Aust.

After John Locke  transportation to Australia he again married and had a big family . What is lost is the Family he had to Sarah Duffield if any one could help.
