Richard Hodson married Anne something in 1632. I've attached two versions of the register to compare. I am confused with the first letter of her surname which looks like it could be a 'J' when compared with the 'J' in John in the record above hers. But to me it doesn't make sense. I would appreciate help with this problem from someone with more expertise than me please.

Cheers

Could the attached wedding photo be 1909 or earlier please?
I am unsure if it is of a 1909 wedding or the bride's parents wedding in 1886.

Thanks

Thanks everybody for going to so much trouble to find Fred's photo.
The tree you found Rosie17 is in fact my tree however because I'm not financial anymore I can't search without them trying to get me to join again.
The photo you found has four generations in it, the old bloke is Robert my great-grandfather the next is Harry my grand-father and brother to the Fred I'm looking for the bloke holding the baby is my dad Fred and the baby is my half-sister Irene. The photo was taken in 1921 only weeks before Robert died.
Thank goodness they called me Robert and not Fred, using the same name can be very confusing.
Thank once again and I'll keep looking. :)

Thanks for that, I assume you meant to write 1871 not 1971.
Anyway I had a member of Ancestry have a look for me but could not find any.

Hi, Fred Pearson is my grand-uncle. He served in the Army Service Corps from 1893 until 1919 with a few breaks in between and was a Staff/Sargt when he finished. I have all his service records, birth, marriage and death certs but what I am interested in finding is a photo. I realise that old photos get thrown away but I am hoping there may be some out there.
Although he was born in Cheshire in 1871 he moved to Rochdale as a child and, when not serving in South Africa or France, lived his life in Rochdale. He married Edith Howarth in 1898 and they had two kids Harry (1905) and Freda (1911).
I know this request is a long shot but if you don't asak you don't find out eh!
Cheers, Bob Pearson
