Durham Lookup Requests / can anyone help
« on: Monday 29 August 11 17:38 BST (UK)  »
Hi wonder if anyone can help. My mother had an elder sister who was adopted, my mother never knew of her until 3 or so years ago but sadly she recently died. My mother never really got any info off her but her birthday we think is Aug 1927 and in either South Shields or Murton assuming she had either parents name it would be Saunders or Taylor, however she was born out of wedlock so may have had neither.  She was married twice and her latest married name was Milson, her name is Joyce and her husband was Thomas.

P.S. Her parents were Edna Taylor and we think David Saunders.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I tried and couldn't anything and I dont have the resources now to continue.

Thanks Brian

yes it is him, I have his apprentice papers off when he qualified with his father Thomas on too.  I only hope someone reads this who knows his family now.  A long shot I know but its worth a try.

Thanks for your help

does anyone know anything of a Sidney Coulson (Seaman) he was born in Sunderland in 1907.  I have just recieved some documents which may be of some sentimental value to his family, lots of steamship discharge papers, photo's etc.  Any help in tracing this guys family would be fantastic.

Thanks  Brian

I agree with you Debbie that is why I have probably been hitting a brick wall as I always searched for Charles Riley.  Thank you so very much.
