Hi Donna,
It would be good to compare.
My grandma was called Eliza Mayer Stephenson and it took many years to find out why Mayer.
Where shall we start? I go back to 10 something now. have not done any tree for a while as a little twig was added via my daughter 17months ago!!!

Hi, I am looking for info on Thomas Meare who was curate in the 1500,'s . He was brother to William Meare born 1520. I think they lived at Norton Hall.
Thomas married a Margaret.
So grateful for any help. Thank you.

Hi Thank you for your good wishes. Yes we will see what the certificate brings and work from that.
This is a new tree for me as I have been working on my other for 15 years now so one gets to know the territory,so this is unfamilar at the moment but very interesting.I am geting to know all about Whitehaven and all the terrible pit disasters too.

That is what I have done. The only certificate i can find is the marriage which i have ordered so i can find the mother and then the birth.
